Balancing PMR+ Recipes

June’s Release

This video is for users who have already done their nutrition homework and would like to learn about feeding PMR+

PMR+ follows the base guidelines of 80% muscle meat, 10% bone, 5% liver, 5% other secreting organ plus the addition of plant ingredients such as fruit, veggies, and digestible carbohydrates. Supplements are also used. Eggs and oily fish and other toppers are also added. The plus part of PMR+ is added in addition to the ratio. The ratio supplies the base and other ingredients and supplements are added tailored to those ratios and what makes up those ratios.
This video discusses true balance over time and how PMR+ menus differ from typical NRC recipes seen in RFN. In addition, this video discusses briefly how to help people who are not going to be using nutrient guidelines select appropriate ingredients and covers common mistakes made in standard PMR diets.

A way to Support

Our Story

Raw Fed and Nerdy operates  through donations and a hardworking admin (and member!) team. For most of RFN’s existence,  RFN presented an advertisement-free website where users can learn uninterrupted. RFN is not planning on changing that.

As the group has grown wildly beyond what was originally expected (thoughts of a few hundred members has turned to more than 5,000 members), content creation and costs have increased.

While RFN is beyond grateful to our donors and will continue to provide an ad-free experience, RFN is now presenting another option where users can choose to purchase small digital goods.

Your purchase helps keep RFN up and running. Pending the success of the trial January video, future content could potentially include user-voted content and written content. If this project proves to do well, higher quality content will be created.

Thank you so much for supporting RFN. Your contribution benefits the entire group.
